| C-zom 09/27/22 3:25:22 PM #12: | Your mileage may vary. It's nothing like a JRPG, and really isn't much of an RPG at all. I was reminded more of something like the two modern Deus Ex games. It has an open world (albeit, very empty) and a skill tree walled off by allocating certain stats to unlock them / use different gear. Hot take but for me, personally, I find cyberpunk settings to be as off putting as steampunk. Nothing is more cringe to me than in-universe lingo and swears and everyone is dressed up like a wardrobe was put into an air cannon. I played the 5 minute intro, saw a cutscene of about a dozen missions I'd want to experience playing, felt robbed of that and quit. Edit: Played it again recently with 1.5 and got about 20 hours in and just got bored.
