So Gus wants walt dead for killing 2 child killing drug dealers jesse was going to kill but he doesnt want Jesse dead for killing gale and also indirectly costing him Victor. Jesse seemed to be the worse of these 2 costing Gus more cause of his own moral reasons. Walt was indeed only killing them to save Jesse. Theres all these times where Jesse does plenty if not worse yet he pulls the moral card later.
