She'd set food and water out for him when she could but he wouldn't let her touch him for a long time. He also came well trained so we figure he used to belong to somebody. We don't know if he was abandoned, if he wandered and got lost right when they were moving out, or if the old owner died? He does seem to act like he has abandonment issues because he gets anxious and frantic if she's away for too long. Though he's gotten better.
