And apparently Majima only had 3 short scenes in the original, right? (the intro, the batting cage fight, and the soapland fight I think). But here they added a bunch of new fights like at the funeral and at the pier, as well as the Majima Everywhere system.

From watching the original cutscenes, I never got the sense that they were best buds or anything, just coworkers with Majima wanting to fight Kiryu against his will just to get his jollies. Now it felt like they changed the narrative to Kiryu and Majima being longtime BFFs and Kiryu wanting these fights to improve his dragon style. It's definitely a little weird >_>
