Loki is such a jobber in this movie. Any fight scene hes involved in is so lame. Hulk tossing him around like a sack of potatoes at the end would have been far more rewarding if he kicked any kind of ass in this movie.

But I like how every character gets to have multiple moments showcasing their skills, intelligence, etc.

The real tough thing for me though is some of Joss Whedons dialogue. Some of it is fantastic. an ant has no quarrel with a boot for example.

How desperate am I? You threaten my world with war. You steal a force you can't hope to control. You talk about peace and you kill cause it's fun.

This ending line is so bad it kills the entire speech he gives. Kill cause its fun like thats the best he could come up with?

And just some of his writing tent poles that show up many times through the movie that are so forced and cringy to me.

This is a man who means to start a war,

Loki means to unleash the Hulk.

This place is about to blow. Drop a hundred feet of rock on us. He means to bury us.

The only thing you really fight for is yourself. You're not the guy to make the sacrifice play
