The people attempting to "cancel" something aren't doing it because they like the person/show/movie. For example. Roseanne Barr. She's basically persona non grata in Hollywood because of things she said in support of Trump. People still like Roseanne Barr. They'll still watch reruns of the show. But the people that have successfully "cancelled" her, as in getting her fired from her job and basically kicking her out of Hollywood, were doing it because she said things they didn't like. So instead of just ignoring it, they made her lose her job. We can argue whether or not it was justified, but you can't deny the people doing the "call to cancel" are doing it out of hatred. --- It takes zero effort to be a good person. ...
