Before I begin, I work overnight 12 hour shifts. Ive been doing this for over a year. That detail is important.

So I woke up this early morning and checked my clock and it said 7. It was dark out and I thought it was 7PM. I usually wake up at mid day, take a nap and wake up at night. After a while, I wanted some Sushi but I checked the time and saw it was 10:30. Its already closed. After a few minutes, I walk around the house and notice its full daylight.

I start to freak out. There is no way. I just checked the clock and it was 10:30PM. I woke up at 7PM. Am I losing my mind? Is there some kind of catastrophe happening? That stuff goes through my mind. I check my phone again to confirm my time. I freaked out and called a friend asking what the hell is going on. Do you see this light outside? He laughed like it was a joke then said he needs to hang up to finish getting ready for work.

Then it hit me. I checked my phone again. Its actually morning. I feel like a complete dumbass. It was so embarrassing. I actually slept throughout the night which never happens on my day off. Just. God damnit.
