If you and your wife don't want to kill any future fetuses, then good for you. No one is advocating for mandatory abortions or the execution of born human beings.

If you want to protect life, surely you are also for our society sparing no expense for the children forced into this world against a women's wishes to be fully provided for should the mother prove incapable. If no child should suffer a parent's mistakes, then that means post-birth as well.

Why does your wife think the government should be in control of her body, even if she is assaulted or at risk of death? An abortion ban strips women of all humanity and dignity. And if the government can do that to women, what is to stop them for finding ways to control their bodies or men's bodies in other ways. If you aren't affecting someone outside your body, then no government has any right to ever interfere. Doing so is unforgivable.

If I somehow magically became attached to someone right now and was dependent on their body to survive, they should be able to disconnect me at any time. It doesn't matter how human or alive I am. It's their body.
