I am almost certain that this movie was inspired by a book by that doctor who calls himself Seuss. It might have been a Christmas special. I am under the impression that the movie I am thinking about is that movie detailing the events of how that Grinch creature tried to pseudo-metaphorically steal Christmas from the local town. In any case, the only point I remember from the movie I am trying to identify contains a scene where some narrator explains how one person rung up the telephone on two people, how those two people rung up the telephone to call to other (distinct) people, and so forth. Anyway, can anyone help me identify the name of this movie?
