Topic	UPS says it delivered a "signature required" package to my apartment..

I still say to keep an eye out for that "delivered" phone. I'm not joking when I say I've had UPS mark things as delivered several hours before the driver actually delivered it. That driver you spoke to is likely not the only one in the area.
