student A at the table has a police lives matter sticker on his laptop which is obviously going to provoke a negative response in a diverse space on a college campus
and student B at the table seems to already be recording by the time they're confronted and making rhetorical questions that frame the exchanges and guide its direction
and student C (the person recording the video) is really just waltzing down the hall of the rhetorical framing established by student B, seemingly unaware of any sort of contextual metagame and thus playing with zero defensive measures in it, drawing half the students in the room into it in the process
this was a setup on the part of students A and B, made for social media, a case study in agitation politics if you will, intended to serve as an expos on the ideological disposition of whoever confronted them - in this case, the girls
The sticker is a setup, the rest is totally conjecture. I agree with the other guy that you shouldnt be hanging in a multicultural space with that particular sticker but I also agree with the other guy about the leg to stand on.
Its so obviously clear that the real problem she had was the sticker that its actually upsetting to know that the amount of song and dance that had to happen to get to the point is the same shit for why multicultural centers are even a need.
