Honestly, both the "anti-woke" crowd and the "not woke enough" crowds are such a small minority of the consumer base and the average person really doesn't care about these things and are just hoping for a decent product to enjoy. Yes most people "don't really care" however a large number of those people who don't really care aren't white and are more enthusiastic to see people that look like them cast in major roles.
