It's different when actual culture is being displayed like Encanto, Princess and the Frog or Mulan but if we are just talking about skin color?? Shouldn't really matter.

Because when you see people that look like yourself doing things on a grand stage of things it makes you feel like you can do those things.

There's studies about how young black girls see themselves as lesser because of how the media portrays them.
