Depends what games. If it's what's supposed to be of the moment, they're usually helpful. But if you make a game outside it's mainstream moment and it's not part of a well established series that they can use context from, you can tell a lot of them are sucked up in the current wave and aren't really trying to let loose for a couple hours to review a game that goes against the conventional for the time. It has to be a very surface level of not serious for them to let loose and just play for fun. Most the stuff in the grey area goes over their head and they judge it like it's trying to be some masterpiece and fails. If you're just looking for games for rhe fun factor alone, most reviews don't help.
