It seems like you were implying there is some sort of design to this society , which if true would suggest some kind of Nationwide conspiracy . Right ? You said , the patriarchal society has MADE men earn more on average.

As opposed to them just choosing to focus their expertise on more high paying fields.

Like let's look at your nurse vs doctor example. Nurses do more routine work. But the doctor or surgeon comes in and makes a life changing decision. This is similar to the relationship between a fry cook and a kitchen manager. The fry cook maybe does more raw labor , but they are directed by a superior. Who deserves to make more ?

You said society being structured to pay men more is your main opinion , that would imply an overreaching nefarious design perhaps. Hence why I said , conspiracy .
