There is no gender pay gap , men make more money because on average they work longer hours , more dangerous jobs , and more high performance jobs like being a doctor or an engineer. They are over represented in high paying fields , and that is with free will accounted for. Same way women are over represented in teaching and nursing.

Honestly this was debunked so long ago and so many times I'm surprised people still believe it. Plus it's illegal in the US to pay women less so even if it happens they have legal recourse to sue .

Totally normal poll results for a supposedly ultra leftist population.

This is who/what I replied to. They were curious WHY people voted this way, when the most of the people on here say they are, "Leftist." The reason WHY they voted that way is because the poll asks two different things, kind of. The main question is if J-Law is paid less because she's a female, which the people who voted here voted, "No," she isn't paid less because she's a female. SHE, Jennifer Lawrence. The same people who don't think SHE is effect by this, may still think a pay gap exist in other jobs in the world.

I'm not talking about ME, I'm explaining why OTHERS may feel that way, answer this person's question about why CE, who mostly leans Left, would answer this way. Not MY opinion, I'm explaining why others may think and vote that way.
