The irony here is that you're feeding directly into the idea that women cannot be sex-positive without relinquishing their dignity and ability to be taken seriously, which is a patriarchal and puritannical concept.

If the viewer finds anything about this to be "contradictory", then that speaks more to their own feelings about women than anything the show is doing.
