I call to confirm the status of active warrants lol
For personal life:
- Suicidal family member that drove off in the middle of the night.
- My license plate was stolen and I needed to have a police report filed to fight a toll bill that wasn't mine. Huge semi truck was caught on camera with my dinky college pride bordered plate slapped on the front.
- Same car got stolen a few years later. Called the police and they confirmed it had been used in a high speed chase across the county before being impounded.
- Called them this year on a neighbor throwing a week-long massive house party across the street. It was genuinely unsafe and the party goers were getting drunk, fighting, driving over yards, and so on, all while blasting music that could be heard several streets over. Cops never came once that week despite apparently receiving multiple calls from other neighbors.
