I saw a film last month called Fish & Cat, which I really loved. It's an Iranian film that incorporates many elements of 80s American slasher films, and it's central gimmicks are A.) that it is all done in a single shot and B.) that time loops backwards and forwards with different groups of characters in the woods. Like, two people will walk through the woods, conversing, and meet up with two other people, and the camera will follow the second group, and they'll later eavesdrop on an earlier conversation that happened between the first group of characters.
