It's hilarious how supportive people are of us sending all our money to foreign countries.

I agree TC. Spend money on our own people, infrastructure, etc

Allowing our enemy to gain control of a vast swath of the world's grain and natural resources seems like a bad idea even ignoring humanitarian concerns.

Much of the world depends on Russian and Ukrainian fertilizer and grain among other things. Russia controlling Ukraine's portion of that too gives them even more leverage over other countries and more money to funnel to their military and espionage.

In addition doing nothing simply destabilizes the world. Smaller countries being gobbled up whenever a bigger one feels like it is chaotic and harmful for the economy and human society as a whole. It some cases it can lead to contamination of water, food exports or entire countries/regions through Chemical weapons, Nuclear meltdowns, Toxic byproducts of war etc.

Disruptions to shipping, sea/air travel and production of various foods and goods strains economies and increases poverty/food insecurity.

Much of this applies directly or otherwise ripples into other nations outside the ones fighting.

TLDR: Shut the goddamn fuck up
