| Straughan 09/02/22 6:27:06 AM #44: | It's funny, I've played lots of air fighters since OG Star Fox and can't recall out of the lot of them any that were better. Except maybe the other Star Fox games. Reminds me of how I used to like Gran Turismo and not Ridge Racer. I ended up realizing that I liked playing Ridge Racer 7 better than any of the GT games. Because fun is more fun than realism. I tried the Dirt 4 and WRC10 games on the catalogs and could barely beat the starting shit. Yet whenever you see those big arcade dirtbike games, they're fun as fuck. I don't know why we can't get them. The illusion of realism is counter to how things really are anyway. The real life pro doesn't feel the difficulty and the pro on a realism racer isn't a pro at all. Rather just have fun and go 1000mph shooting rainbows out of my ass doing 300ft jumps while twirling like a goddam Chili Cheese Frito. --- Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process they do not become a monster. ...
