Not when those people created a CPAC competitor that got multiple former and current government officials to attend. Sorry dude but the whole point is that people who emulate Nazi ideology aren't going to be comparable to Nazis in terms of feats of cruelty until they, you know, attain power. So maybe we should call people attempting to attain power who associate with people who deny the holocaust, uh, Nazis.

The irony of your post here is that attendees of the Unite the Right rally are on camera numerous times saying "We're not Nazis those guys are dead" while they carry around nazi symbols and rant about the Jews. You're basically repeating their wrap for no discernable reason since you don't seem to grasp or understand that, no, they are not accomplished, because

A: We've made it unacceptable to hold their views as a collective society

B: Because they are attempting to gain political power rather than currently holding it

You might have some iota of a point here if, I dunno, their attempts were failing. But AFPAC exists and it has GOP allies, so Nazi-sourced ideologies literally do hold influence in U.S. Congress at a minimum. This isn't even getting into people the Trump White House had in its employ.

I'm not even calling Republicans as a unit this. I'm just saying that yes, MTG and Paul Gosar are effectively authoritarian fascists. If they weren't, they probably wouldn't be speaking at a conference run by a guy who thinks black people are inherently inferior based on junk IQ science and denies the holocaust and otherwise is a proud self-proclaimed incel. He has influence over elected officials. This is in where we are. The left did not have any appropriate parallels to this in congress during the 1980s or 1990s.
