In a nutshell, becuase he has been the most effective manager of the most successful state in the nation on a variety of economic metrics using Conservative economic solutions. He is articulate and, unlike Trump, isn't an idiot. Trump is an idiot and I hope he doesn't get our nomination again but I unfortunately assume that is likely.
