Neither of those artists will actually come up via the Acclaimed Music poll for a very long time as things stand, even if we entirely swap out each artist-slate as with my radical proposal above. IMO, the answer is to include those two alongside another similarly popular album you also really enjoy in one of your polls.
This is what I do. I throw out three fairly equal albums with a common theme and don't mind which one gets through. My first time, it was Phil Collins, Foreigner, and Queen, all from 1980-81. My second, it was three VERY indie artists I'm fond of, and I, like Johnbobb, couldn't be like "Eh I'll throw in something acclaimed" there because it would annihilate the poll, and nobody would've discovered Sunspot here that way. And I couldn't nominate the most well-known band from my area (Garbage) anyway since their best album was poll-locked the week my noms were due (you can't nominate anything from the current poll), but it would've swept. My third time is planned to be Christmas albums due to the timeliness. I'll certainly have had three VERY different flavors.

I would probably cycle through the artists. Maybe I could go three artists at a time, and when we eventually reach a certain number (#100, probably), I would cycle back to the beginning. That way, we don't have certain artists clogging up the feed, but everyone still gets a second chance eventually.
I like this idea. #100 is a fine place to cap it at. We've already covered some of those all-time artists (some multiple times, like the Beatles and Taylor Swift), and they'd get cleared out in due time if more of them get nominated by users. It'll take a long time to get through all 100.

Will do first listen tonight or tomorrow. Got a boatload of good shit from a used disc store that's going out of business. Been listening to the music, but the games and movies are for another time.
