We used to "trick" my sister into eating mushroom ravioli by telling her it was meat.

She wasn't morally opposed to mushrooms. Mushrooms didn't violate her religion. She just thought they were icky.

I guess it could be a dick move if you knew someone was allergic to a specific meat alternative, but the opposite of vegan isn't a carnivore and no one eats meat as some sort of protest or belief system.
