I've seen folks saying these two songs are the fastest paced songs left. I can see it for Breath of Forest (more on that below), but Argon Refinery is fast in a different way. It feels more "careful" than most songs: every beat is a deliberate step forward, a menacing prowl around the corner. It's a song that constantly pulses and ebbs and flows. It's one of (if not the) longest of this year's retirees in runtime, but it never bores me. It's not as fast in tempo, but it's fast in execution, in intent. If I were to personify the remaining songs, Argon Refinery is an encroaching menace, flashing lights through a fog, a mean cat stalking a helpless mouse. It's a sleek, professional hitman. It will kill you and leave no trace - and most importantly, you'll die with your toes tapping. I love this song.

I typed this entire writeup and Argon Refinery is barely halfway over.

Breath of Forest opens with trepidation and then launches into a frenzy of high-speed piano and woodwinds. It's the most, to borrow a term from Tox, DESTINY of the Mad Rat Dead soundtrack I've heard, and while there are other songs from the game I like more (including the other two from this contest), I respect Breath of Forest for its sharp melody. From the very start, it makes its presence as a melodic song known, and though the notes shift by the time we get to the chorus, it all comes together in a consistently entertaining package. Also it's got a great drumbeat, which given that it's from a rhythm game, makes sense to me. Breath of Forest offers a lot: catchy melodies, exciting instruments, prominent drums...it's got the whole package. Very engaging.
