Remake I can recognize is great but I just...can't with the combat in that. I frustrated me too much the damn controls. Never finished it but I want to love it so damn bad so definitely will give another chance next time there is a big gap between good new horror games.

the tank controls take a bit of getting used to but once you are used to it the games are a lot of fun
what OG2 has over REmake2 is that RE2 has 4 campaigns while REmake2 only has 2

you see in OG there are 2 story paths. the A path and the B path
the A paths are supposed to lead into the B path
so claire A fits neatly together with leon B
and leon A fits together with claire A

the REmake only adapted the A path stories which creates plotholes
they changed the opening for the second character you play as like the B path would have but then they go right into the A path.

like sherry getting infected by the G virus is a major part of claires A path. this never happens to sherry on the B path

and claire and leon barely interact in the REmake 2. they meet up once near the start of REmake2 and then never again until the ending.
in OG they meet up several times during the game and also have walkie talkies to be able to keep in contact with each other so by the end of OG claire and leon feel like partners who went through the adventure together while in REmake2 they feel like strangers even by the end
