Hope it goes well. And as a guy who has heart issues I'm glad to hear the success have gone up. Cause when they diagnosed me back in the 80s the docs told my parents that it was 97% chance of failure, which is why I've been playing the worst waiting game ever.

Damn. Would not have liked to hear those numbers.

The procedure tomorrow is the riskiest of the 3. But this hospital has a success rate of 85-90%. The other 2 surgeries are not as risky, but the chances of people living into their 20s after these surgeries without needing a heart transplant are around 50-60%.

Still, we are gonna give him every chance we can. And I'd be happy if he could make it to his 20s before needed a transplant. A transplant then could give him another 10-20 years after that.

Thanks everyone. I will post in this topic with an update tomorrow evening. Hopefully with good news.
