i don't think it'll impact as much people think. this is monthly payments being removed, not like the stimulus check were people are given thousands of dollars. it'll just ease some people's budgets going forward, but it's not like we haven't already seen the effects from the payment pause. this, in line with payments resuming in 2023, will make those that got $10k knocked off forget about it when they making monthly payments again.
It's not a massive boost to the economy but permanently freeing up a billion+ dollars a month and not having the thought of having to make those payments again can motivate people to take risks they wouldn't otherwise take.
