I believe many naturally violent people want to become cops so they can get away with kicking someone's ass or worse. Or maybe it fully develops from the power trip of walking around strapped all the time while people feel the need to kiss their asses as much as possible or possibly be fucked with.

I dunno, normal people don't continually dogpile like this and shoot at their own shadow. There has to be some psychological explanation for this kind of behavior.

They say the guy hit one of them first. Ok, man up and just arrest him. He was clearly down at that point and just a skinny kid who they easily overpowered.
