Or when you need to repeat the same thing multiple times until they finally process it.

"Thank you for calling Ace Hardware, how can I help you?"
"Hi, I'm looking for a 5/8-11 galvanized bolt with a hex head."
"OK, let me go check and see if we carry that for you."
*two minutes later*
"Thank you for holding, unfortunately I'm only seeing 5/8-11 in stainless steel and zinc."
"You don't have it galvanized?"
"...no, sir."
"What did you say you have it in?"
"Stainless steel and zinc."
"Hmm... and it's 5/8-11?"
"Yes, sir."
"But you don't have it in galvanized?"
