I am not more educated than others, it's just common sense. Compulsory education has never worked in the US, even when it was first implemented in Massachusetts in 1852. What about other countries you ask? The modern public school as you know it started in the state of Prussia in the late 1700s and every country in the world, it's educational system is similar to Prussia's. Japan for example modeled it's government during the Meiji period after Germany and along that they copied their educational system too.

But even ignoring the history behind public schools as you see in the US it doesn't work, because we are suppose to be a free country, and compulsory education conflicts with that freedom. There would be a lot less violence and school shootings that's for sure.
