The issue wasn't that she snapped like she was prophesised to, but the way in which they showed it in the last season. It was a giant leap from what she'd done previously, and couple with the numerous other atrocious decisions from this season many simply weren't prepared to give the benefit of the doubt. Dany was just one of many, many, many issues and not even the worst by a long shot.
