Well think about it, Republicans depend on food stamps, welfare, social security the most, even in their states they need the most farm subsidies, I have nothing against that but they continuously vote against their own interests.

It usually stems from this; they want all of that stuff but only white people only white people can get benefits if they need everyone else doesn't belong in America and that's essentially the MAGA banner.

it's white, cis, het, christian. more than anything they want to be able to be racist, sexist, transphobic, biphobic, and homophobic, casually, all the time, and they want no one to be able to call them out on their bullshit without being silenced.

-if it's a protest, that is better than peace. this argument would be used against the civil rights marches, for example. "You might be right, but do you have to make such a big deal about it?"

-I am absolutely a hedonist. you (or anyone else) has no proof that anything besides hedonism exists. our pets are hedonists, yet we know they are "good" "sweat" and "kind" on the inside.

ok ok this point is valid it's just ironic b/c being exploded and vaporized, from any source, is probably one of the best ways to go tbqh.

anyway I couldnt keep reading after that. the author makes astute observations, but they are just blaming city dwellers and not looking at it from the perspective of the cities at all.
