2022 and people still think the rules mean anything and we need to trust the system. You think it matters what we allow the GOP to do? You think they care about permission?

They didn't get a stranglehold on half the country because 75% of people didn't vote hard enough just a few years ago. They cheat and exploit ancient concepts like the Senate and the Electoral College and have enacted their endgame. You need to realize the rules don't matter anymore.

Oh, but they do.

It's like a boxing match where the judges pick the winner after 12 rounds.

If a boxer gets 60% of the offense and the judges rule in favor of the other participant, that's a bad call. If a boxer gets 70% to 80% of the offense and the judges rule in favor of the other participant, that's a rigged contest.

Rather than admit they're rigged, the electoral college will have to relent in the face of a landslide victory. If they say, "Fuck your democracy, we make the rules," they have a civil war on their hands. No, they'll relent before that happens.

That's why the vote still matters -- even against a stacked deck.
