Paychecks havent risen to accommodate the unchecked inflation and arent going to. Why should I jump into the rat race if having a job doesnt pay me enough? The job requirements for entry level work are almost laughable and they basically want a Harvard graduate to be a free intern for a year and then take a position for $15/hr. Oh, idk about you guys, but a starter home in my city now costs about $600k, so excuse me if Im not tripping over my own feet to go get piss tested in some workjob that pays 1/3 of what I need to get by.

The corporate elites live in the world of newspapers and letters while the rest of us are on computers and can very easily and legally track the pay raises they give themselves. We see what it costs for them to buy their products and we see what it costs to staff a workplace, then we see who is getting paid what. Then we see their paychecks rise, first exponentially and then astronomically, while they continue to not only hover pennies away from paying their workers a criminal wage, but they sadistically overwork their employees in their short staffing trend that now results in abused workers and poor customer experience.

I dont say a word if I see someone shoplift food. They seriously cannot freaking afford this sickening inflation and I think its great to screw corporate out of money. Im personally not going to risk probation, but Im also not going to stop someone for taking what they cant pay for.

Thanks for all the fish!
