Im sure Ill stop at some point, but its not going to be any time in the near future. If cases are substantially lower than they are now and we have relevant variant-specific vaccines I might reevaluate.

I don't remember the last time I wore a mask. They're a pointless waste and they really don't help stop the spread at all. Even if everybody had the right kind of mask (and cloth masks were most certainly not correct by any stretch of the imagination) most wouldn't wear them right and the rest would end up fussing with them throughout the day to the point it doesn't matter. It was total absurdity, 100% security theater and 0% actual security.

Masks substantially reduce transmission, particularly high quality masks like (K)N95s. Yes, if people wear them under their nose or something theyre going to be useless, but thats because people are idiots, not because masks dont work. Mandates wont do much now but thats because of a lack of compliance. You can still substantially lower your own risk by being consistently and correctly wearing a high quality mask during high risk activities.
