Topic | Could you see yourself ever working a graveyard shift? |
SiO4 08/02/22 11:32:31 PM #48: | xMythic posted... I worked grave for 13 months. It took about two solid months for my body to adjust to the backward sleep hours. I basically had no life during that time, just slept and worked. I literally sleepwalked around the gaming floor (worked at a casino) like a zombie during the final two hours of my shift for those first couple months. It was rough but I eventually adjusted. I would sleep from 9-3 and have enough time to get stuff done before work. But after a year the hours were no longer compatible with my life and I found a day job in an office. Ya, and trying to fall asleep after working the floor was just not happening. A full shift of that shit, with the lights and overbearing sounds, and all the other shit that goes on. The old Game King Cabs were pretty friendly though. I kinda do miss working on the machines. ~Managment though was pure evil. Not IGT but the House Managment. --- "Whatever the reason you're on Mars, I'm glad you're there, and I wish I was with you." ~Carl Sagan. Currently playing: Flight Simulator X.~PC ...
