It's possible for both to be victims, but not on the same level, for Heard to have been lying about the specific allegations that were the subject of the trial, but not about others. There doesn't have to be one victim or "the victim." Toxic relationships are often mutually abusive. This is not to defend Heard, she was clearly abusive. But I think there was evidence that he did bad things to her.
