Early on they show his casual antisemitism and you think uh oh, but then he ends up looking like a genuinely good dude during his interactions with fake grandpa, and he gets really sincere and emotional by the end... and then hes just gone. hes maybe one of the most normal people Nathan has ever had on a show.
