I hate watching my guy lose and makes the experience worse. I usually hate the MC and like to watch them suffer. I personally hate when because the payoff usually doesn't always balance out the slog that you're constantly losing and you're supposed to feel some kinda redemption most towards the end. Like just throw the MC a bone so you can have a fuck yeah moment every so often or at least make it more interesting then not.
