That's not how it is here. There's chill people on either side but most chill people here don't pick a political party to manipulate them. The conservatives here play nice sometimes, but they make underhanded comments to stir shit up so that they can then look like the calmer ones when they pretend that wasn't their intention. To me, that's way more cowardly than yelling at someone.
