| MaxGalactica 07/25/22 5:11:00 PM #39: | Para Bellum has some interesting elements, like the guitar at 1:31, but it's mostly pretty uninteresting to me. The fake instruments are the big detractor from this one. Illusionary Blue Flowers is in the same boat, making this a tougher match (a mid-off, if you will). I think IBF has better instruments overall, so I think I'll go for that one. Home Sweet Home and City of Tears are both significantly better than either of the match 1 songs. Home Sweet Home is slightly repetitive, which is the big difference maker in this one. The instrumentation is prettier in City of Tears as well. Good quality match though. Spirit of the Mountain is definitely the best song of the day. Such a great atmospheric track (still waiting for a Bandcamp release or something). Sky of Twilight is alright, but it has a lot of issues with the vocals and mixing. Three very good tracks, and three pretty meh tracks today.
