to be fair, there's a high chance you're not as passionate because you're not in the industry. once you get back in it and get your feet wet, it could very well trigger something in you that makes you realize you actually do love it. it happens often.

i personally am a lazy guy who love comfort. but in my opinion, you can only really live in the comfort of laziness once you actually hit what you've been striving for. otherwise, you should keep striving. passion and then rest.

do the coaching gig, see if it still fits with you. you might find that it becomes less work and less effort as time goes on and you can still be lazy while feeling very productive. if it feels natural and comfortable after a short while, then stay. otherwise, go back to the laziness and comfort that you're in now.
