I also found his and the GSF attitude towards drugs as dumb and hypocritical. Murder is ok, extortion is ok, drive bys and gun fights that could injure innocent bystanders is ok, stealing is ok, car jacking is ok, vandalizing property is ok, but "dRuGs ArE dEsTrOyInG tHe HoOd!"

This, not only is Carl doing better and actually getting assets once he is kicked out of LS but he makes allies who have a grander sense of things beyond the hood which is a place to leave or uplift not keep the same and stay.

Sweet thinking the hood is everything is just sad and the kind of person who never gets far in life. Look at how CJ is and then Sweet, even when he left to go to Liberty City he showed to be willing to get out of his comfort zone and carve a path of his own.
