Mainly due to the fact that I've gotten good at knowing when it's time to dip from a conversation. I wouldn't bet on your mom doing any changing to make you happy. If you want to have her in your life, you kinda need to put the boundaries on yourself. That's the only real way to have control over the situation. /unwanted advice --- Most people are other people.
