the right is powerful because they seemingly take in any ally they can get regardless if there are individual issues that separate voters within the parties.
as far as i've noticed, there aren't any witch hunts to destroy reputations or lives when conflicting issues are brought up.

the opposite seems true of the left which seemingly consist of a bunch of splintered communities each of which want to be first in line to absolutely demolish their members when they step out on issues that don't fall in line with what that individual community think is right.

an obvious example is jk rowling.

also, maybe that's why the left never "gets anything done" because it seems like ANY action they take will automatically make their current president the worst president in history.
