Arise really hit the ground running with the combat. I loved it to start and enjoyed it immensely up to about the third realm.

It did the same thing that Scarlet Nexus did where it pretty much gave you everything really early and so you got the feel of what you liked best rather quickly and didn't get to slowly add new components in over time. As such, you end up doing the same thing for a ton of time and find yourself too ingrained in your current setup to bother experimenting further.

But man the game fuckin DRAGGED too towards the end. I found myself skipping cutscenes because they wouldn't shut the fuck up. They were repeating the same lines and same objectives over and over and over and it was driving me nuts.
