Meme people go feral and make a lot of noise over anything though. Even the old people know about Vader and the Joker. Thanos is like Ganon, Bowser or whatever Undertale villain was the most popular, comes off like a big villain if you're constantly exposed to the circles that'd know about them and push them but the further away you get the more they kind of fizzle out.

Edit: Also would it be too tongue in cheek to suggest Satan?
