Regarding Yoshi Story, I'm not going to defend its flaws, but you're supposed to beat the game multiple times, because every playthrough you only get to play one level in each world.

There are four levels per world, so that would mean four different playthroughs going through four different levels per world each time as a minimum.
Im scratching my head how so many people dont realize theres 24 levels, not 6. Do they not find any big hearts? When you start a game you literally have to pick between the 4 different starting levels. Plus every level has branching paths and a few different things to uncover.

I played Yoshis Island for the first time this year and was disappointed. Its braindead easy if youre not going for 100% completion, and tedious and boring if youre going for 100% to unlock the secret levels. Yoshis Story has more interesting gameplay with more varied levels, and it controls better.
